The Woodstock Slammers have added forward Branden Kosolofsky from the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. In return the Slammers sent forward Shane Innes to Drayton Valley.
Kosolofsky is expected to add offense to the Slammers line-up and will be playing this coming weekend. The Alberta native is expected to arrive in Woodstock this Tuesday. Coach Tatarnic had this to say about Kosolofsky "Branden is a gritty player that competes hard who also has offensive skills. With the addition of Laite, Kosolofsky and Langan we feel we have strengthened our hockey team.
The Slammers bench boss was also quick to point out that the team would miss the services of Shane Innes. "Shane is a great kid who will be a great player down the road. I know the coach very well in Drayton Valley so he will be in good hands. We want to thank Shane for his hard work and dedication this year and we wish him all the best in Drayton Valley.
