The Woodstock Slammers are proud to announce that they will be participating in the Eastern Junior Hockey League Winter Showcase Tournament in Marlboro, MA.
"This is a great oppotunity for the players on our team who are pursuing the NCAA route. The EJHL is a great league who produces some quality teams and players who are highly regarded by the NCAA" commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic. The EJHL had 70 players committed to Divsion 1 teams for 2009 season and the EJHL expects another big number for 2010.
The Slammers will face two teams they are familar with in the Green Mountain Glades and the Bay State Breakers. "We've played both teams in the past and we know we will have our hands full. We've developed a good relationship with both teams and are looking to seeing each other once again on the ice" added Tatarnic.
