My son has been having some difficulty in school this year. He struggles, gets extra help and has a tutor two times a week. Knowing how hard he's worked this year and how much he loves the Woodstock Slammers, in particular, Captain Dan Dooley, I thought I'd try and rig a special gift for him.

The Woodstock Slammers may have come up a bit short in the quest for the 2007-08 Maritime Junior A Hockey League title, but fans will remember this year as a season when a great bunch of players, guided by a tremendous coaching and support staff, took it to the limit in every moment on- and off-the-ice.
